Pros

Good discount Good Pay Other Sales assistants were lovely. Generally was enjoyable. Great products.

Cons

-Management was awful, 'us vs them' mentality. -Can be mentally draining. -Inexperienced Supervisors, generally looking to meet a quota in disciplinary action. -Pushy sales tactics (sometimes customers just want to be left alone!!) -Scare mongering tactics were often used, and the systems in place to "control" employees were generally patronising, including disciplinary action if you are off sick too much. -Mental health and wellbeing was not taken seriously. -Joined feeling excited to work for such a great company, and left feeling deflated and disappointed in what I thought to be an ethical company who treats their employees with respect and decency.

Pros

Staff discount Ethics Freshness Training Training boxes of product for when new products are released You get free reusable cups, etc as you can't bring single use into stores (this is good) Access to free mental health services

Cons

1. Limited positions available as store manager and in head office so it's very competitive to be promoted. HO positions especially rarely come up. 2. Inconsistent management. Really hit and miss depending on where you are in the company. Seems to make a difference if you're one of the popular ones. Really aware if you're not popular. 3. Cliquey in all areas of the business 4. Expect a lot out of store staff with all of the opening and closing procedures 5. Communication from HO inconsistent. Sometimes way too much to absorb, other times you don't know something has changed with a launch until it's happening and that can mess up rosters 6. Policies and procedures not clear 7. Technology is absolutley shocking. Needs major investment. POS problems, fax machines still exist at Lush, can't be trusted with internet apparently (at least when Iw was there)
