Pros

BD is well known name and has a broad range of products providing a great opportunity for cross training and gaining experience in a variety of processes.

Cons

The focus was more on business output than efforts and achievements made by employees. Low moral from lack of this appreciation and office politics leads to high turnover.

BD's company values are very strong. My coworkers are generally a pleasure to work with. If you're on a big project, there can be many good travel opportunities, which is an added bonus

Cons

The work-life balance can be challenging on tough projects. Training can also be difficult to come by too. I've found it difficult to get promoted at BD. There is a tendency to hire outside instead of promoting from within.
