Pros

BD's company values are very strong. My coworkers are generally a pleasure to work with. If you're on a big project, there can be many good travel opportunities, which is an added bonus

Cons

The work-life balance can be challenging on tough projects. Training can also be difficult to come by too. I've found it difficult to get promoted at BD. There is a tendency to hire outside instead of promoting from within.

Pros

Working for a global, and fairly prestigious medical device company. The salary and benefits are not terrible. I don't mind the company itself.

Cons

Dealing with management, their presumptions, stereotypes, judgements, and racism. It seems to me that this particular bd company has promoted the wrong type of people who lack the compassion and professionalism that comes along with having the gracious role of being over people.
