Pros

AT&T is a great place to work if you don't mind working over the telephone with the majority of your co-workers. People are generally nice, but you don't form a relationship with your co-workers because you are mostly working over the phone with them. You are constantly surrounded by intelligent people who can really help to develop your professional career.

Cons

Too much overhead, morale is low during these hard economic times. The corporate environment does not allow for fast decisions. Projects that should take only a few weeks end up being dragged out over the course of 6 months to a year or longer.

Pros

The best reason to work at ATT is the opportunity to work from home and not be challenged by going into an office everyday.

Cons

In sales the pressure is from Management who constantly hound the SALES team to do whatever it takes to win business.

Pros

It's a job and I'll keep it until something better comes along. I like the people I work around and I like what I do but I do the same thing and no one pays attention to what I do. I don't understand how my job could be saving the company money. But hey they want to pay me for showing up and working then I'll show up and do what they want. It works. My boss is very flexible and is very much into supporting the family in any way he can. I really appreciate that, espically with children.

Cons

The health benefits, the lack of leadership and the insane communication is the biggest reason to stay away. Our co-pay for one person is $1,100.00 a year. I don't know what it is for a family. I think that's insane. It has to be met before your insurance will kick in. Also you can't pick your pharmacy you have to go with the one mail in pharmacy they choose for maintance meds. What if I like seeing my pharamsist every month? What gives them the right to choose for me? They also took away all of the extras like filtered water and the shuttle bus between buildings.
