Pros

10 hrs work days Good pay Good environment Truck driving school paid (if opted) Strick about safety

Cons

10 hr work day minimum Management are unfriendly and seemingly unapproachable (standoffish) Extremely strict on attendance, 1 second late is still late even if you blew a tire on the highway or totalled your car... only exception is doctor's note or death in immediate family in which you have to give a 24 hour notice of absence, 6 point system, 1 tardy is 1/2 point, absence without dr note or approval is 1 point, 3 months or 30 years does not matter, they will fire you at 6 points 110+ degrees in the summer on dock... winter does not have the same luxury of being warmer

Pros

Got paid every two weeks.

Cons

•Upper management “SVPs” have no idea what anyone does •HR NEVER advises any of their employees on changes to the handbook •PTO - if you don’t use it, not only will you lose it... but they will then deduct what you have already accrued. “Legal robbery”??? •Trainers steal your ideas and pawn them off as their OWN. •You’ll never be told by upper management that you’ve done a good job, even when you have. Because they have no idea you even work there. •Give 100%, you’ll get laid off. Should include that in the “handbook” •Processes & procedures are nonexistent •Be asked to work but given no direction but be blamed when things aren’t flowing properly •Will lay off ALL GOOD WORKERS •Will keep and PROMOTE lazy individuals who cannot do their job properly •You will be slandered by people who did not even work with you, upon being laid off
