Pros

Laid back sales environment, t.v.s, pool table. Most of the people are pretty cool.

Cons

No support from your manager, they just want you to make cold calls all day. They quote their customers too high and then if they can't cover the load they give it back and 9 times out of 10 you lose that customer. Commissions are a joke 3% of what your gross margin is, and it will probably be at least 2 months before you even see that money on your paycheck. They had no idea when my training was going to be and when I started training it was a joke. Your just a number to these people. The carrier reps make way more money than the salespeople do because of the commission structure. Do yourself a favor and and go work at Coyote Logistics or TQL instead...much better companies and will always be ahead of this crappy organization.

Not paid commission

Pros

Easy work if you like talking on the phone all day.

Cons

Not getting paid the commission I earned. Over a 5 month period the company owed me over $5,000. If you like to work for free this is the company to do that for. I was one of many people in the same boat in the Atlanta office.

Pros

My coworkers were great. There are a lot of helpful people on the bottom level that would like to see you succeed.

Cons

Management is not very present. The Chicago branch president is also the COO and is in the office maybe once every three months. They expect you to generate your own leads, but not during work hours. The leads you will be supplied are the worst in the business (out of business 10+ years, doctors offices, bakeries, personal lines etc)
