Pros

There is a strong focus on job safety, and lots of training opportunities online and in a classroom.

Cons

Weatherford does not have a lot of work in operations. Equipment is out dated despite the propaganda and advancement is usually done just to fill positions of people who have left.

Pros

The facility looks decent and everybody looks professional

Cons

I had an interview of which I was only told the job description and the salary expectation but I wasn't even asked any questions. It just felt like I was used for interview formalities after a candidate had already been identified. I was heavily beaten by the rain on the day of the interview and I caught a cold. I even had to dry up prior to the supposed interview but 2 weeks after I called and was told someone else had been hired. At least I felt I deserved a call informing me that I wasn't the successful candidate so that I can continue my search but that never happened.

Pros

Weatherford presents the opportunity to work with bosses who are understanding of that fact that life events occur and are willing to work with you when stuff happens. Plenty of career development courses available to help the employee to further their skill set and to grow professionally. Isn't quick to pull the trigger on laying off employees during downturns (2 have happened during my 6-1/2 years, and only 1 has happened at my location). Opportunity to move around within the company should you feel the need to seek a new position/challenge. Invests in their employees and offers team building events during and outside of work hours.

Cons

Plenty of competitors offer more in the way of monetary compensation. Facilities are good, but not necessarily top notch. Weatherford doesn't necessarily have the best reputation with all of its clients.
