      Low pay, time manipulation to benefit them. The only way to advance or move up is to know someone and be really good friends with them.

      Pros

      Great opportunities in the future when the oil price goes up and the N. American market comes back. Lots of management changes, so many new positions are created constantly.

      Cons

      Like a dysfunctional family, many businesses with different personalities inherited from the companies acquired over the years. Each is an group of self professed experts, unwilling to come together into a single company with uniform practices.

      Pros

      Company has continued to iron out the mess of a decade of M&A. Lots of good people.

      Cons

      Lower level executives seem to churn a little too much, and end of making change & changing jobs without seeing their vision through. As a result the boat turns every year or two and it starts to seem random. Might be common in larger companies though?
