Great team

Pros

Valorem management has taken the time to build a foundation to build upon. Given the continued 'hyper growth' mode, having this foundation will help as unanticipated situations are encountered. Leadership is focused on employee satisfaction and spends an inordinate amount of time on efforts to ensure the well being of the team. Open to new ideas, hiring experienced managers to fill gaps, willing to change if something's not working.

Cons

The pace is fast. Management does not have all the answers. Customers are demanding (where are they not). Perhaps a bit too much chaos, but given the growth, it is to be expected.

Pros

This review sums up working at Valorem perfectly: Fun and active place to work with like-minded people, and well-rounded people. The culture is one driven by high expectations, which positively challenges the teams to work hard and strive to excel in the work they do, and the solutions they create. The teams are all very close and the average employee here is overall a positive influence and highly skilled in their craft.

Cons

There are times that the turn around time is very short and can cause some stress, however, this is what makes the job fun and keeps you guess on what's coming next.

Opportunity for improvement

Pros

Hip work environment, a lot of good people work there and there are several that care about you and your growth; good opportunity to learn new skills and grow while you're there

Cons

Accounts with work life balance are few and far between; everyone is stretched thin with the growth; resourcing needs a lot of improvement; expectations around raises and promotions are not clear; seems overtime is a base expectation
