Moving to Surrey. Longer commute for me. Not appreciated much. Expressed desire to move up not taken seriously. Not very good raises. And some managers need to handle their staff so they act in a professional manner and treat other employees with respect.
Proximity, hours, summer bbqs, social events, some awesome people, small raises each year, health plan,
Cons
Alex Fraser bridge was horrible for fall/winter commute. You'd get stuck on the island for honestly HOURS, cause traffic was lined up to your companies door. Lack of room to grow.
