Pros

All potential pros were lies.

Cons

I would strongly advise anyone considering applying for Teleperformance through any location to reconsider. The company claims to value integrity but will blatantly lie to you repeatedly regarding everything from the initial job agreement to future role expectations. Management lacks knowledge of, well, anything at all, and as such, the communication is either laughably nonexistent or blatantly contradictory. You will be promised one thing then told another. The training was excruciatingly slow and ineffective. Trainers here are immature, inappropriate, rude, and the training process is not set up to adequately prepare agents for the job. Sensitive inappropriate topics for work were regularly discussed during training hours. The company wouldn’t know professionalism if they saw it right in front of them. If you have any qualifications beyond a GED, work elsewhere. The pay isn’t worth the unethical upselling job practices they require either, nor is a signed employment agreement and job term by the company about the remote nature of the job be trusted. Technical support is outsourced to another country and they’ll either not help or just hang up on you. I could keep going on but I’ll refrain. Best to avoid a job that literally plays children’s songs to motivate you during training, while they systematically dismantle anything worthwhile about the company and position…. A company that has an aggressive and deceitful recruitment process all to treat you like less than a warm body in a seat… I really hope others can avoid such a negative, stressful, and disappointing experience.

Pros

You don’t work any weekends... Only pro

Cons

Everything else about the job they are very deceptive they lie from Day 1 there is no signing bonus you will not receive a raise you’re pulled into coaching and get points and warnings for the smallest thing like you didn’t offer to call the dr for the member to set their appointment. They keep you on eggshells telling you that you are close to being let go. Who wants to work in an environment where you fear losing your job daily. They tell you to help the members but the entire time you’re talking to the member they’re in the chat rushing you to tell the member you will call them back. It’s not worth the headache oh and nothing you learn in training applies to the job other than signing into the systems and most of them you won’t have access to. ANYTIME that you request off will be denied even if you request to use your PTO... that’s only used to make up for hours or days you missed after the fact. It’s so much more to say but I hope you get the picture. DO NOT WORK FOR THOS COMPANY

Pros

Great colleagues, multinational environment, pay on-time, 45 mins break included, easy job

Cons

- Salary has remained the same during the last 5 years (or more). If they think 820 euros (salary for most languages) are enough to live in Greece, they have absoultely no contact with real life, especially given the tremendous increases of renting costs in Athens lately. If they don't raise the salary soon, foreigners will start living and only the desperate greeks will remain. You need to pay minimum 300 euros to for a very basic studio flat + bills. 820 euros are not nearly enough. Cost of living in Greece is not the same as it was 5 years ago, but the salary that they offer hasn't changed at all. -Even if you are working for them for many years, you have the same benefits with somebody who has started working. No permanent contract, no salary increase, nothing at all. - They change the company in your contract every some months in order to avoid making you a permanent employee, so they can fire you whenever they want without a compensation. Totally shameful! - They sometimes include your overtime hours in your daily schedule, something that is totally illegal! - Too much focus on KPIs. People are not numbers and you are just a number for them. -Corrupted managers and HR. Lack of meritocracy. You need to know somebody in order to get promoted in many cases. - They don't listen to people. They just care about their money. They know all the above and they know that people are not satisfied, but they just don't care. A typical example of a multinational company. - Bonuses are very hard to get (though it depends on the department)
