Great people, but toxic environment and unrealistic expectations

Pros

Only good thing is the IC level people you get to work with and some engineering managers.

Cons

Awful place to work, unrealistic expectations for such huge workload, the finger is always pointed at you and blame when things go wrong lands on you. Plus ServiceNow shows really flashy forward-looking demos to customers when even they inside their internal environments have a big mess that would make it really difficult to get to that state, to me that was really misleading and very disappointing because it hides away all the cost it takes to move away from heavy customizations to OOB.

Pros

Good company and benefits are great

Cons

Local support account management is not professional/ethical breach. The team operates under favoritism and the personal whims of the director, creating an environment where members fear retaliation. Morale in the team is at an all time low.

Pros

-The true culture of the company is that most employees will help one another without any pushback. -The technology is solid. ServiceNow has a pretty full toolbox to help IT shops with their needs. -Nice offices

Cons

-The sales teams are weak. They rely on the ITSM install base and hardly have relationships outside of IT. -The company is frugal beyond belief. While the executives are touting the cash reserves to Wall St., they leave out that that is at the expense of the employees. -Leadership is rife with favoritism. Star performers get "solid" ratings and minimal raises, while buddies take care of their buddies whether they perform well or not. -While ServiceNow publicly touts no layoffs, if an employee is rated with a score of 1 or 2 (out of 5), they can be fired without any notice. These can easily be looked at as quiet layoffs without the need to pay severance. (While this did not happen to me, but I saw it happen multiple times)
