Pros

Good pay if you have a master or higher education, exposed to all kinds of projects, some managers are easy to work with if you are lucky.

Cons

Company cares only the short term situation, and too often work force reduction. Fear of to be laid off affects the workers' morale.

Pros

Great if you love to travel. You get to go to a different country at least every couple of years. Good pay too when you work internationally. If you like your location, you'll have an amazing time. Good opportunities to advance if you are a hard worker.

Cons

Low home country pay, but still too much working. Absolutely no work/life balance. If you dislike your location, you will have the worst time. No opportunity to put down roots because you get transferred just as you are about to, so all you'll get to know is your coworkers. No real transferable skills gained as a Field Engineer.
