Top salary ranges and benefits, endless career oportunities

Cons

Alot of politics are involved, performance appraisals are based on your relation with your managers, you have 1 direct manager yet too many indirect managers. You work very hard and they still fire you claiming you are costly. You are expected to work above human standards yet still keep your fatigue levels at Low!!

Pros

In Schlumberger you can a real hands-on experience, which would help you to excel in your further careers. In my case I had a chance to undergo internship in Data and Analytics. I could say that this internship was fruitful and amazing. I learnt new things every day. I had an opportunity to learn new software such as Tableau and Alteryx and scrum agile methodology. Besides experience, the working culture and environment were nice and friendly.

Cons

I enjoyed my internship with Schlumberger and I don't have anything bad to say about my experience and the department I worked with.

Great Pay and you get to see some really cool things you never would if you weren't in the oil industry.

Cons

Awful work life balance. Required to be on call all the time. No set schedule so can never plan to do things.
