      Pros

      I worked with a manager who gave me lot of autonomy and freedom. I was way under paid (compared to peers and market) when I came into the company. My manager had to fight tooth and nail to get my salary up the market average

      Cons

      Terrible industry to work for. After working here I realized how cut throat this industry is. If you're an engineering and don't mind having zero work/life balance then you will like SLB. They also reward engineers well but don't care much about other functions.

      The best reason of working there is that we had many opportunities to learn about the field and stay safe.

      the downsides there were having no time to rest, and the environment was not that friendly

      Pros

      Diversity,you can meet people from many countries and you have opportunities to travel to different countries. The company also encourage you to attend training every year (when the company has budget).

      Cons

      When the economy is bad, all the benefits are gone. HR always draw a very beautiful perspective for you when you join the company. You will know the reality after 1-2 years. You can get promoted very fast if you met a good boss which most people don't have the luck. In some centers, mid level management has a really disgusting culture.
