      Pros

      Great for young individuals, who has no need for good pay and just wants a place to work.

      Cons

      Staff are being payed bare minimum and often work long hours above average 9 - 10 h (rest breaks thought the day are statutory minimum of 20 min, and long term employees are not rewarded). Health and safety is a far cry from how it is portrayed to their clients.

      Pros

      Great benefits for the restaurant industry. Good work life balance with an abundance of jobs in the more traditional Mon-Fri daytime scenario. Parent company is Compass group which offers the ability to move to other businesses within the same umbrella in other parts of the country.

      Cons

      Company is heavily focused in Business and Industry/Museums serving high volume cafe style food. We do it very well but leaves some chefs a yearning to go back into the fine dining side of the industry where food quality and presentation is king.

      No Raise in over 8 Years for CxRA on-call workers

      Pros

      Flexibility of schedule. Easy work for the most part. Workers may be the most diverse group of any catering company.

      Cons

      No raises have been given to butlers or captains for years. No reviews given either. Company didn't tell 100s of us we had newly-issued paid sick leave for 6 months. No appreciation for employees who have been working there for a while who know the idiosyncrasies of the different locations at which we work. No opportunity for job growth.
