Was great job......but.

Pros

It allowed me to have great hours! Union benefits after 30 days. 15-20 minute commute by subway. One of the cleanest kitchens ever. Great staff, good management.

Cons

The exception was a very quick learning curve. A curve you could never measure up to. The Chef was unethical and demeaning in showing what was expected of me. I felt he wanted me to fail from the start.

Hard Work, Moderate Pay

Pros

Flexible working hours combined with a staff that was eager to get the job done. Great meals provided at the end of the shift.

Cons

Horrible managent. For instance, if you worked at Penn in Philadelphia, they had a witch there who made people's lives miserable. Not projecting. The management- you never met- they were tentative for calls during working hours but not for after hours- which is when the majority of the work/ time you needed to speak to them was conducted.

Unclear expectations

Pros

I worked for an RA outlet off site of their usual large venues.

Cons

The expectations were very vague, and the outlet has since changed hands. Also, they tried to pay us through debit cards that were laden with hidden fees
