      Great Benefits. Good pay. Generally good people.

      Cons

      Not very innovative. Not very progessive. Not very flexible. Sometimes very inconsiderate for employees in the following areas: Personal life, advancement, team dynamics, career growth, fairness.

      Pros

      Flexible schedule with adequate vacation and sick time. Compensation is fair to good. Meets most people's expectations. Overall happy !

      Cons

      Open ended contract and currently up for negotiation. Do not know if we are to be resigned. A little scary since I have not been in this situation before.

      A Job to Come Home From

      Pros

      The benefits are decent, the work isn't too demanding, and the pay is not too shabby for the area. Management makes honest efforts to support employee morale and to recognize good performers. The work/life balance is not much of an issue.

      Cons

      The benefits aren't exceptionally great, the process around software development is stultifying, and the multiple layers of management are baffling. Perhaps this is normal for large companies, but I've never before had four direct managers. Coming from a startup (we were acquired by JCI), it has been disheartening to say the least to watch our productivity plummet in the face of the added process and management demands on our time.
