      Name recognition Green company Good benefits package (if you are lucky to get one)

      Cons

      IT has too much politics affecting employee moral and productivity. IT management lives in a different world than you - average employee. They usually have no clue about the technical stuff and form their opinions based on whoever they think they can trust with technical issues. Difficult to work with the management. No team attitude! Blaming attitude in IT.

      Friendly co-workers Decent pay / salary Plenty of overtime (even if you do not desire it)

      Cons

      Had to work weekends and be on call 24 hours - I averaged 60 hours a week, which was less than many people Little feedback from management Poor work-life balance
