Pros

You're encouraged to have fun at your job. It's an open kitchen and they encourage this so the guests are entertained and it's a good experience overall. They were very flexible with scheduling at all 3 locations I worked at. The food is actually good quality and fresh, and it's a lot more enjoyable to sell good stuff to people than so-so quality.

Cons

In a training video, one of the company owners actually called his employee base, "these kids." It hit home because that's how I felt working there- like I was expected to be a college KID being halfway supported by mommy and daddy. My location paid shift leaders (key holders, bank drops, food orders, inventory, run whole crew, etc etc) only 9/hr. I stepped down due to my GM screaming in my face, and then I switched stores. After 3yrs at that location I was told that I could not get any more raises- 8.60 was already too close to shift leader wages and that's that. I finally told them I was interested in shift leading again, got it, was guaranteed 40hrs and then given 20.

Pros

Some fun team members, job isn't terrible but they expect you to do so much more than what you're paid for I think. Free meals and you get a ton of breaks if you're new.

Cons

When you need to work and there is not even people coming in. They put you on break and if you're in highschool trying to make some cash part time. How do you make money when you're on break for 2 hours on a 4 hour shift? It's stupid!!

Pros

Better than minimum wage pay, no drug screening, and amazing co-workers, they require you to watch videos online for your training and then you have 3 shifts of training in the store that you're paid for so you don't have to waste too much time as a trainee

Cons

My manager hired me knowing I was in school and had non-negotiable time commitments and even though I printed out my schedule for her she would still schedule me for hours I couldn't work and act irratated when I told her I couldn't do it. She was also very inconsistent in what she expected, some days you could show up 20 minutes late and she wouldn't say anything, but one time I showed up 10 minutes late when she had me close the store the night before and wanted me back 8 hours later to open the store on top of the subway construction going on that week I ended up only being able to sleep for a couple hours and overslept so I was late and she wrote me up anyway.
