Pros

Free lunch, slightly flexible hours, bonuses and tips, the opportunity to get called in for extra hours, promotion opportunity, uniform provided (Not shoes)

Cons

Favoritism, Extremely low pay (I've worked here 3 years and I still make minimum wage. No raise), If you deny a call to work, you may not be called again, Too much work for not enough pay, dress code is way too serious for the pay and line of work, promotions are more so based on favoritism rather than work ethic and leadership skills, hours can be cut at any moment (no amount of hours are guaranteed), Unsteady schedule, work holidays and weekends, inexperienced management, occasionally close at night then open the following day, Power hungry management

Free food and the managers and other team members are very friendly

Cons

A lot of work but less pay. Late shifts that leads to no chance for transportation.

Mental Illness at Five Guys

Pros

Awful compassion towards the mentally ill so no not a pro. I had no food at home so at least I got free burgers. Cause your employees can't even afford it

Cons

You have sons and daughters. You are human beings. I am someone's daughter. Sick, poor, and frail. And I was pushed out of your company for my "bad attitude." Im sure if your secret shoppers knew that I witnessed the death of my father at 19, they'd cut me some slack. I'm only 21 and have been working non stop ever since to provide and be strong for my family. Terrible work support.
