Pros

People are friendly, and supportive. Good work/life balance. Used to be a decent pension (which is why so many unhappy people stay). Many people 'look busy' and coast through.

Cons

Leadership is awful. Egotistical, bully like leaders who set the wrong example. The company cares more about the public opinion than the staff. This is a place careers stagnate and die, especially in the IT environment. Dishonest leadership practices and totally disconnected from the normal staff. Company claims to have an 'hopen and honest' culture which couldn't be further from the truth. If you're in the 'jolly boys club', you can do well, but if you have morals, it's not the place for you.
