      Busy season pretty awful.

      Pros

      - Enjoyed working with most of my colleagues. - Good amount of PTO (5 weeks) - They make a a lot of effort to train you to improve your technical expertise. - Opportunities to work in India (on rotation)

      Cons

      - Really poor work/life balance during both tax busy seasons. I would work until 11pm or midnight for 2 months straight, plus 8+ hr days on weekends. - Salary is not competitive. - Some of the staff that was hired was just awful. It kind of makes you wonder if the company hires just anybody. - People who should be fired aren't....or it takes them a long time. Everyone gets promoted at the same time, so if you're just "okay" you seem to be promoted as well. No incentive to work that hard.

      Pros

      The ACA is a very useful qualification to have and Deloitte are great at supporting you throughout that. Deloitte is also pro-community activities and you get time off to do that.

      Cons

      I did not think the pay and reward was at par with what other ACA qualified individuals in industry and in the other Big Four were earning. This could be quite demotivating.

      Pros

      Deloitte is a very good employer which tries to encourage a good work life balance and community investment initatives (for which you get time off)

      Cons

      I felt that as the salaries were not in par to other Big Four, it was a big demotivation. Some managers are good with appreciateing good work, but most just expect you to get the work done.
