Pros

Great people to work with. Compensation is fair and reasonable. The work is highly stimulating and opportunities to move upwards exist.

Cons

The hours are at times very long and tough. Sometimes the pace of the job can be extremely strenuous and demanind mentally and physically.

The atmosphere at Merrill is casual and hours are flexible.

Cons

There have been some layoffs this past year and the 401K match has been suspended. They also are not letting people carryover more than 16 hours of vacation into the new year.

Pros

Merrill used to be a great place to work and begin a career. I spent over 10 years with the company before my department was downsized and I had had several promotions and opportunities to expand my skill set via internal advancement. The non-managers are some of the nicest and hardworking people I'm worked with and I miss them more than anything.

Cons

Lowballs employees on pay Internal politics can be frustrating No education benefits No long offers a 401k matching program Manager to employee information is usually lacking.
