Pros

At certain degree, you are allowed to be very creative. If you are employed through management trainee, the director will constantly keep mentoring you as long as the director is still incumbent. There is also leadership development programme for career acceleration opportunity of the regular intake employees. The benefits might be rigid and non-negotiable at certain points, but it is already competitive if compared to another company with the same business practices.

Cons

Even with the "acceleration" term, being in talent pool still take you more than 3 years to advance into managerial positions, typical FMCG. You can expect long bureaucracy due to the complexity of the business process. There is also seniority embedded in the company culture although many senior might deny the tendency.
