Pros

Not much... nice building, on-site cafeteria and gym, generally friendly people

Cons

Too much... -I was told my role would be very similar to my current role at the time, which was a completely inaccurate. I was hired with as much compliance experience as the others in the department who held similar positions and I was relegated to intern work. -To actually have work to do was the exception, and when I did it was busy-work (think copy+paste for 7.5 hours) -No schedule flexibility. Had to stay until 5:30, no exceptions, including an hour lunch, regardless of work being available -Reason we were required to stay until 5:30 was in case we had to clear a potential 'negative hit' on a customer. This particular job function was so easy that it could be taught to literally any sales person in 5 minutes -The manager, while genuinely a nice guy, feared being replaced and refused to give responsibility to the rest of the team -The head of our department, while also a very nice and intelligent guy, was out-of-touch with the day-to-day operations of the department and only spoke in vague terms (including my interview, that red-flag should have been enough to decline the position, in hindsight) -50%, at least, of everyone's day consisted of completely, utterly pointless meetings. This took the stereotypical 'meeting that could have been an email' to another level -Office technology was severely outdated

Pros

People overall are easy to work with... wayne office updated

Cons

Same problems every single day... Multiple outdated software that could easily be updated if company wanted to invest...Lack of investment creates ongoing confusion and hits to productivity..I feel for those in sales support, credit, etc as they're limited from full productivity

Pros

- Work environment is clean, open, updated - Ice cream and popcorn are offered to help make up for the mediocre wages - Most people (the ones that haven't left yet) are great - Healthcare was good but easily found elsewhere

Cons

Left after 11 years after being convinced by former colleagues- The amount of people that I know who left DLL for other companies and got 20-30k higher pay is substantial. Didn't realize how wide the discrepancy was until I was away from it all. Your pay when hired at first is what you'll be getting for many years even with good performance. They'll throw in the 2% "merit increase" (which is simply an adjustment for rising inflation), but after that it'll take moving up to positions that are either very limited or already reserved for the right people. You'll have external employees be hired at noticeably higher pay as you (and your hardworking teammates) are making less. Workload fluctuates but teamwork is difficult during busy times as everyone has their own regions/specialities. If it works out for you then go for it, but the grass is actually greener as myself and about ten others learned.
