Pros

Compass Group puts forth time and effort to hire the right people and grows and develops their employees.

Cons

The work is extremely rewarding, but if you are not committed to working hard and delivering great results then you will not be successful.

Pros

A good rapport between colleagues. Free lunches for doing a 6 hour shift or more and free coffees whilst on shift.

Cons

Management are inconsisent. No training was given when starting and learned everything from watching others and making mistakes. This would be acceptable if customers were made aware that new starters were new and weren’t so horrible. Expected to know everything about your location from the get go which is extremely overwhelming especially for those with no experience in the field. No health and safety advice was given in person which is dangerous for new starters. Management don’t communicate with staff, questions were asked and blatantly ignored by a supervisor. No breaks unless you work 6 hours which is a joke when you are so rushed off your feet.
