Pros

Abbott Nutrition provides a good training program for sales people. Management, for the most part, is professional. There are many opportunities for growth and promotion within the greater Abbott organization.

Cons

There have been too frequent changes in direction corresponding to changes in management. Often mistakes made in the past have been repeated because institutional memory is lost due to turnover. Abbott Nutrition has an unexciting product line.

Pros

Benefits Profit Sharing Small family feel In depth knowledge of niche market Good managed care training Very reasonable working hours

Cons

Senior management vision resulted in poor product launch resulting in various sales force reductions. Aging product turned smaller and smaller bonuses. Weak pipeline. Medicare 'bundling' Job description and responsibilities constantly change and increase. Specialty injectable salespeople not utilized to their best qualities. Specialty injectable sales force eventually reduced to office based capsule sales.
