Very easy to be recognized for excellent work. Management does take notice and word does get around. Hours are usually very set, don't have to worry about too much overtime. Very diverse employees.

Cons

Although promotions are usually deserved, they are rare and don't seem like there are many openings. Corporate culture and morale have dropped drastically since the bailout.

Large multinational company which is a stable place to work if you have a job there. Obviously the government won't let it fail.

Cons

Old fashioned. Systems aren't really up to date, a lot of paper and filing around. Not very efficient in day to day work.
