Pros

Big - the company is made up of hundreds of subsidiaries; plenty of opportunity to move from company to company (if you're willing to relocate).

Cons

Pay - they claim to be at market average; but the catch is that they are included the non-vested options. By the time I left the government owned the company and my options were worthless. So in reality, I was 25% below the market average.

Pros

the illusion of professional advancement will keep one saddled even when reality struck and there is no realistic opportunities available. Loss of great technical expert due to bad management. good HSA plan.

Cons

Bad promotional path, long hours, negative environment. When creating a team without organized planning and dedication. No need to say, experience was awful.
