Screening call, online test, phone interview, assignment, in-person interview. The in-person interview was an all day event and I talked to 6 different people. During that event there were also several assessments.
I applied online. I interviewed at Uber (Chicago, IL) in Apr 2022
Interview
Applied and was contacted by a recruiter name Brooke. Scheduled a phone screen for a particular time/day and she did not even have the professionalism or respect for a candidate's time to reschedule or cancel. I'm not interested in working for Uber anymore after this recruiter just ghosted me and wasted my time. It's a reflection of the company.
I applied in-person. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Uber in Jan 2022
Interview
3 part interview process:
1. Recruiter: discussed job description, my qualifications and compensation package. Recruiter mentioned that the offer would be non negotiable—that was a bit off putting.
2. Hiring Manager: here we discussed my qualifications. The interview was pretty seamless, and the HM asked questions to gauge my interests and how I’d like to grow professionally.
3. Panel Interview: during the final round, i presented my case study…the project was a bit ambiguous, but not incredibly difficult. After presenting, I had an additional 30 minute interview with another person on the team.
Around a week later I received email notification with an offer.
All in all the interview process was pretty seamless and straightforward.
