Panel interview. You will face a lot of high positioned people in the company, know a lot about the company and their culture. Panda is very strict about their values, mission statement, etc.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Panda Express (Portland, OR)
Interview
There will be two interviews, an initial interview to assess resume and inter-person skills, then an "experience interview" to see how you do on the job. The initial interview was about 2hrs long, with the district supervisor, store manager and state supervisor. They ask questions such as experience, knowledge of the company and what you can bring to the table. Just be honest, and you'll do fine. The "experience interview" is more on what you can do, how you react in situations and how quick you can pick things up.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The experience interview asks you to do things such as cut veggies and cook fried rice in addition to managing front-of-house and dining area cleanup.
I had an interview at the store itself. I could say it was casual or relaxed.
Typical interview questions were asked like, "Why Panda?", "What do you know about Panda?", "What are your long term goals?"
Then he explained the organisational structure of panda, he explained their culture, what they are.
