I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Google in Jun 2022
Interview
Recruiter outreach initiated the process. First round was on people management, all behavioral. Virtual onsite had 1 coding/code review (I chose code review), 2 system design, and 2 behavioral rounds. All in all took 2.5 months, very professional all throughout

Question 1
Give me example where you assessed risk that others couldn't see. This was a bit tricky. Lots of deepdives into my answer. Eg. why do you feel others hadn't forseen it? What processes did you build to ensure you wouldn't be a single point of failure in the future. How did you convince them given that you were the only one you felt it was a risk? Would you have been convinced by your own thinking had you been someone external to the team?
Code review -> MinMaxStack and Depth First Tree Traversal. Was initially bit nervous since I hadn't done a code review interview before, but got some practice with a Prepfully.com Google EM and it proved the easiest round.

Interview
A much more controlled process than when I last interviewed (& was hired) almost a decade ago.
Focusing more on culture / personal values than on individual contributor skill due to management level interview.
