I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at FDM Group (Manchester, Angleterre) in Feb 2013
Interview
Interviewed in February, straight forward interview, after a day got accepted, however the first call about the training was in March, offered to start a different stream training. Agreed to do it, but a week before the start date got a phone call that it has been cancelled, got offered to change stream AGAIN! Decided not to change it, and another start date for the course was mid July.
Be aware that the contract is 2 years and you have to be fully flexible + you don't get paid before you are placed with a client, which can take ages. Your salary that is advertised 22k or something is actually 18k + £2 per hour Bonus payment, and if you work 40h per week then you will get the 21-22k equivalent. Your holiday pay will only be calculated on the 18k base salary. Try living on this wage in London!
Very simple CV upload to website. Followed by a phone interview which was laughably easy. Included questions such as "Can you work in the UK?" and not very much else. Attended an assessment centre which was also very easy, had a very quick interview and had do a series of bizarre tests which were not very taxing. Most of the day was spent learning about the company, having to watch a half hour video about the company and reading through the contract.
