First I got a call from there HR who want to schedule a phone interview with me. Then the phone interview was pretty easy. Basically, asked about why FDM Group and why I choose to work as an IT consultant. Then they invited me to an assessment day.

Applied online and a couple weeks later was scheduled for a phone interview. The interview was very short and not technical. After passing the phone interview I was brought in for an assessment day where other possible candidates for the FDM academy program were also present. They gave a short presentation to outline the company and the commitments needed for the program. They then gave us an assessment test that consisted of a few simple programming and logic questions. After the test came another short presentation. We were then given three short five minute interviews with three different people. Finally we were required to fill out an hr form and an anonymous feedback form.

Interview
I first heard about FDM via email. I applied and on same day heard back from them, saying I should call them back to arrange telephone interview.
Telephone interview - was not too long, relatively easy questions. Passed.
Programmer aptitude test - this is not assessed. It consists of three parts. Maximum time limit of 65 mins.
Assessment centre - introduction to FDM by one of the senior staff. Followed by a video giving more information and a talk about the contract. Afterwards there were 3, 5 minute interviews. Then a test on Venn Diagrams followed by Lunch, you can go out for Lunch and have to return by 1. After Lunch there is a tour of the office, you see where the sales, recruitment and HR team work. After this there is a test which tests both your logical reasoning and general IT knowledge, lasts an hour. The third and last test is based on maths, lasts half an hour.
