The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Capital One in Apr 2008
Interview
Took the math test along with everyone else, which was a snap. On-campus interview was straightforward, involving a case study as discussed by others, but I got tripped up on silly things, and pretty much blew it from the start. As the interview started with that part, the rest was a little awkward as I asked pro forma questions about the company while we both knew the outcome of the interview. I saw him check the "go no further with this candidate" box on my way out. Oops.

The case involved simple credit card profitability concepts. I don't remember details.
I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Capital One (Richmond, VA) in Jul 2010
Interview
First was HR screening for about 20-30 minutes, then was asked to do online assessments for Work Style, Comprehension and Numerical reasoning. Passed all of them, still have to schedule an onsite interview. Hopefully all goes well. In my opinion, numerical test had very short duration, I couldn't answer all the answers.
