I applied online. I interviewed at Amazon (Sydney)
Interview
Screen + standard amazon loop. Nothing you can't find online. Tree questions likely. LPs seem very important - recruiter mentioned that others often fail on LPs. Considering the difficulty of the coding problems themselves, it's clear that LPs are different. Bar raiser interview was interesting as it was done by a senior manager that was non technical and not managing a software team.

An Amazon Senior Developer interview focuses on your ability to design large‑scale systems, write clean and efficient code, and lead through Amazon’s Leadership Principles. You’re expected to explain your reasoning clearly, defend your decisions, and show how you drive projects from idea to delivery. It’s demanding but fair, aimed at understanding how you solve real‑world engineering problems at scale.
