Amazon Language Engineer interview questions

This was an initial phone screen, about an hour long. Amazon provides fairly detailed advice for behavioral interviews, which helps with preparation. I also got some tips from friends inside the company. However, there was at least one question where I couldn't tell if the interviewer wanted a technical answer or a more general one--instead of asking for clarification, I just fumbled through, which I don't think did me any favors.

The interview was a mess as nothing was organized properly. I was put through the loop without going through the hiring manager so people couldn't find any initial notes on the day of the interview
