I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Amazon (Canton, MS) in Nov 2024
Interview
I get an email from Amazon internal services for the job of data center technician in Canton, Mississippi. It was newly built as of this year and are looking for people to set it up including me. My job is similar to a data set of technician or an administrator or Network level two or three. I was interviewed by phone and it was great. The recruiter said that she's going to advance my application up higher to the hire manager and I should hear something soon and I was promised again promised that'll hear from soon and I received a denial letter without explanation of why I've been doing this for 19 years and this is really insulting for Amazon. This is horrible practice for everyone. They believe that this is streamlined. It is not. There is no human interaction anymore for job hunting and this sucks and it's devastating for the community locally and regionally. I've been doing logistics for it for so long and this is just horrible practice. There's a reason why we have so many applications because we have a lot of people seeking jobs and there's not enough jobs. I'm very upset about this.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Amazon (Dublin, Dublin) in Jan 2023
Interview
First I did a phone screen with a recruiter and chief engineer. They asked a couple of electrical, mechanical and STAR questions. Then they put me forward for the panel interviews. Which were 4 hours.
