Pros

I enjoy the team i work with daily.

Cons

The accounting department is seriously lacking competent employees. Customers don't get billed for 90-120 days instead of 30 days. This causes serious issues when trying to get more business. When a customer does pay invoices the funds just sits there as unapplied money because they do not know what to do with the money Carriers don't get paid in a timely manner either because of the above issues. There is no real room for advancement. The goals for new sales people are unattainable and that causes a lot of turnover. They pit all sales people against each other, and they are always trying to cut each other to make more money instead of working as a team to make XPO the best it can be. Customers get multiple calls from multiple sales reps even after they have told the 1st one they are not interested. That just makes XPO look incompetent.

Pros

The pay and benefits is what makes it hard to leave.

Cons

You're just a number. They want to add to your job without increasing pay. They want you to work harder and care more about your job so they can make more profit than they ever have, but dont share any of it with you. They only care about investors and salaried people getting their bonuses. Always looking to get one over on the employees but get mad when they dont want to work weekends or extra hours. Dont want to pay overtime till after 45 hours. Continues to hire drivers all the while asking others to furlough or take CC days. The company has done nothing but regressed since the Con-way days. Used to get bonuses, but not anymore despite being more profitable. Keeps trying to push us to download an app so they can bug our phones.

Pros

plenty of parking security was very good on site new offices at the time we're nice

Cons

abusive management and HR that never attempted to protect employees from said abusive management. poor salary for what they asked you to do beyond your job scope. Always encouraged to work overtime without pay and then blamed by management for burning out due to crazy number of over time hours worked every week. constructive dismissal used if they didn't like you as a person. management tried it on me by setting completely unrealistic targets and threatened dismissal if I didn't hit targets. when this failed they tried to say they suspected I was on drugs and conducted tests on the day to try and force me out. failed again as I was always sober during work and have never done drugs of any kind. when I passed said drug test there was no apology from site management or HR for putting me through that while I was going through severe anxiety and depression. I would NEVER recommend working for this company at any level whatsoever.
