Pros

Do NOT ever ever EVER work there!!! WARNING!!!

Cons

Lacks professionalism - Management has sex with employees (in the car in the parking lot) - Anyone can work there or walk in there - Guns drugs and sex consume the place and management is aware. Management allows employees to curse out customers and hand up on them. Management allows employees to curse each other out and threaten staff (placing their lives in harms way). It is by far the worst place to work. Customers hate them - drivers hate them - they hate themselves! Simply AWFUL

Pros

At XPO (formerly Con-way Freight) -You can get a variety of experience. Working at several companies over the course of your career will enable you to learn a tremendous amount across diverse environments, which can broaden your knowledge and expertise. In my opinion, it takes at least 3-6 months to get fully immersed in a new position/company, so if you don’t spend enough time at each place to really learn the ropes, you will end up only scratching the surface and will be more of a dilettante than an expert.

Cons

–You get to really understand your company and your contributions to it. When you spend a significant amount of time at one place, you learn a lot about its corporate culture and history and become vested in its future success. When new staffers come in, they will look to you as a resource since you can share your deep knowledge with them, help them navigate the environment and learn the ropes. - When your colleagues and boss know and trust you, they tend to leave you alone. -You do not get feedback from your managers on how you are personally doing in your particular role. They don't tell you what you need to improve on/hardly ever give employee praise. So, in that being said it is hard to tell exactly where you stand with the company/how you are performing compared to your other colleagues. -The company needs to improve there training process. Everyone knows that some employees learn hands on and others learn by being properly trained. -As a former employee the communication was not the best. It seemed like supervisors/upper management had not a clue in what was going on with the restructure of the company.
