Pros

Unlimited overtime. The sick-line is COMPLETELY automated.

Cons

Worst company on the planet to work for. The don't give a rats behind about their employees, all they care about is that you show up and take as many calls as possible. The supervisors will yell at you for being in "after-call work" even if it was an extensive call. They expect you to not only answer the customers question but to also take extremely detailed phone notes and send the customer their follow-up email, all while you're on the call. It extremely stressful. If you become sick and end up missing a couple days you can forget about having a job. They don't care why you missed work, you could be on your death bed and they could care less. The "vertical" I was on, I didn't have access to 2 of the MAIN systems I needed to look up customers information and they still expected me to take phone calls. I told supervisor after supervisor and their response "just take phone calls and if you need to look something up on those systems just ask someone else". So I pretty much had to be babysat. My supervisor had no idea about anything on my "vertical" and half the time had to ask someone else if there was a question. The training is horrendous. They don't teach you nearly enough information before sending you on the call floor. My boyfriend who also worked their received a "no-call/no-show" after a supervisor told him it was okay for him to have that day off. If the sick-line is down, even if you contact your supervisor, you're still going to receive a no-call/no-show. And in order to advance, its all about who you know not what you know. Its like high-school for adults. Bottom line they are heart-less and you don't make nearly enough to put up with it.

Pros

Initially, my training experience at Teleperformance seemed promising. The company emphasizes work-life balance and a positive work environment, but these claims quickly proved to be hollow. When I requested two unpaid days off during a non-peak period, well in advance, my request was inexplicably denied. This was for an unexpected family trip booked without my knowledge, and I had no control over the timing. Seeking assistance from HR was equally frustrating. I had to contact three different individuals, only to receive canned responses and no actual resolution. It's disheartening to encounter such a lack of empathy and flexibility, especially for a relatively minor request. It's important to emphasize that my role isn't mission-critical. The worst-case scenario would be a slightly longer wait time for customers with basic inquiries. Overall, Teleperformance falls far short of its promises. If you're seeking any semblance of work-life balance or to be treated as more than just a cog in the machine, I strongly advise looking elsewhere. This is, at best, a temporary stop-gap until a more fulfilling opportunity arises.

Cons

*Misleading company culture *Unhelpful HR department *Employees treated as replaceable *Low pay for industry

Pros

Some days theres not many calls, which can be a plus if you like to sit around and twiddle your thumbs while reading the same 6 articles over and over again You can make up your time in the same week if you have to call off or leave mid shift due to issues that occur

Cons

Unrealistic bonus opportunities, they want your calls to be under 270 seconds long on average, but whenever a taxpayer has multiple companies they need to make payments for you cant refuse them, and calls can last upwards of over an hour at times, which ruin your AHT(average handle time) and you get written up for it, on top of having other instances where you either wait for taxpayers to find their information, or they ask you to stay on the line while they attempt to reset a password and such and force you to raise your AHT even longer. You dont have access to the employee handbook or half of the employee resources as your computer is blocked from almost everything, If you try to access TP Training you can get in trouble as well since its "Not authorized", so sometimes you cant even do actual trainings. You cant participate in any company activates that require being in microsoft teams after work as you are unable to access team from the work computer. You are unable to view the internal job board while on the clock or off the clock as you are blocked from accessing the page No room for growth if you work remotely
