Pros

Free sandwiches after shifts Friendly employees Developing a relationship with regular customers Cleaner than other fast food restaurants Not very stressful

Cons

Can get very busy while only two people are working You're on your feet the whole time If working during rush hour, management expects you to prepare food, clean, and serve customers simultaneously Minimun wage Dead- end job

Cons

Newfound appreciation for how meager minimum wage is Wage increases based solely on amount of time with the company, not performance Always smelled like bread

Pros

- good colleagues and usually good in-store management - quite a lot of independence and allowance for staff to take leading roles in opening, closing etc

Cons

- treatment from store owners was not great - employer sometimes ignored aspects like penalty rates, overtime; made it clear that staff were easily replaceable
