Pros

Good introduction to customer service; mostly simple tasks that provide room for improvement in multiple areas, so that the work need not always be mundane; hands–on work; social employee environment/workspace: these are some positive aspects from my personal experience working at Subway.

Cons

Odorous work environment; franchise often indicates variability in management and associate acceptability, as was the case with my manager; often many young employees, which mostly leads to trivial, otherwise avoidable qualms and disorganization.
