      Great opportunity to work with Sephora beauty brands . Strong product knowledge gained across skincare, makeup, and fragrance. Supportive team environment and good experience for career growth in beauty retail. Supportive colleagues and friendly work environment. Good product training and opportunity to build customer service skills. Flexible shifts and valuable experience in the beauty industry.

      Cons

      Sales targets can be challenging to achieve due to the store’s location and the local customer demographic. This can sometimes make upselling more difficult, despite strong customer service and product knowledge.

      Pros

      The culture at this business is quite strong. Growth within the organization is possible and leaders do support with this however this can be improved for younger talent with lesser experience. Good management helps a lot with how everyday passes by at work. Supportive colleagues and amazing brands make the job a bit more rewarding.

      Cons

      Work life balance is quite minimal. Irregular shift patterns, last minute shift changes, and working weekends regularly does make life outside of work difficult. Business is fast growing but quite under resourced requiring long periods of time to deal with simple challenges and basic tasks that can be automated, are manual – reducing efficiency. Average base pay could be better as target based commission is not enough of an add-on for most. Lack of visibility with senior leadership and a fast paced environment make it difficult to expand skillset outside of your current role.
