Pros

Met amazing people, made such great friends and connections with individuals who share similar interests and loved learning about makeup and skincare.

Cons

Management is absolutely horrible. They are so condescending and don’t see their staff or brand representatives as real people. It’s so upsetting because there is so much room and potential for an amazing work environment but they are regressing. Most of the NSW stores as well. The staff turnover is insane, like a whole new team every six months and I’ve seen this in the past years, lost so many amazing hardworking people because the management and HR don’t have brains and only care about people “like them”. Felt very uncomfortable most days and also felt like there was racism not only towards me but to other staff I’ve seen and heard myself. You’re being watched every move on the floor and on camera and everything you say and they bag check you like it’s airport security. They act like Sephora is such a luxurious company with luxurious staff but it’s not and they don’t have the makeup or people skills to back them. I’m really disappointed in my experience with specific managers who I would name but won’t. If you’re applying or interested, don’t stay for long, if you want a discount just be a Christmas casual because it’s not worth the mental and physical stress because they don’t even care about that either. Also they make up their own rules and “contract” but that’s literally illegal. If you ask anything they’re gonna say “nope it’s not in your contract” or “no that’s illegal” or make up some dumb excuse. And the worst thing is if you bring it up higher than management and even HR they won’t care cause they’re all besties and spit on everyone under them xoxo
