Not a good time to join Restaurant Associates- Stay Away

Autonomy Opportunity to forge good client relationships RA has accounts at some pretty interesting locations OK for entry level employee in order to get experience

Cons

No growth opportunity Long hours No support from upper management Approach is to hire based on timing- Not on finding the right candidates- no long term vision Company is in survive mode Beware units with collective bargaining agreements NO work/life balance high turnover In general, stay away from this line of work- even worse with Sodexo, Aramark, etc

Management and staffing office plays favorites when scheduling events. Expensive benefits, not enough hours.

Money and benefits packages. Great.

Cons

Unprofessionalism at its highest. Incompetent Managers. General Manager and former Area Director segregate and play favorites. HR consultant/company lawyer up to his head in litigation. (Just do a docket search on any of the Compass companies.) It's only a matter of time before they lose out to their competitors.
