Pros

- competitive salary (for ICT in Italy...) - young colleagues - almost no overtimes - possible growth (up to a point...) - a few perks (some discounts etc) - generally flexible in work schedule (as long as fits the client)

Cons

- they don't care for personal ambitions and skills - work becomes easily boring and not interesting for true nerds - they don't have a true HR department: your manager is your boss AND your HR support - which is not fair at all

Pros

- High level of responsibility early on

Cons

- Nonexistent work life balance. - Very top down management approach - management will promise a deadline without talking to its developers, and then expect long hours to meet the deadline that was never discussed. - Compensation below market value; only discussed once per year. - Only one main customer; no other projects coming in. - Absolutely no working from home.
