Pros

The best reasons to work for PwC are its detailed hands on trainings and the caché of the name on your resume. The training is invaluable both for technical skills, "soft" skills, and the general business environment. After leaving PwC, other potential employers are able recognize the competence that comes from working at PwC.

Cons

Some of the downsides of working at PwC are the long hours, lower pay, backstabbing and political games. Granted, in public accounting, you're bound to work long hours, but you're pressured to work eight chargable or billable hours while being efficient and producing as much work as possible. Compared to the other Big 4 firms, PwC is offers the lowest pay across all lines of service. With regards to backstabbing and political games, it can happen anywhere, but it's just as rampant there.
