Freedom to look at new business opportunities. good employee benefits and retirement plan are available for all staff. I would recommend Philips.

Cons

New product developement i the medical field is slow sometimes due to the FDA process to bring products to the field.

Pros

Training & Development are supported well. Career path is there if you want to devise it and work on it - you need to figure it out on your own. If you have visions of Sr Management positions, your best path is through MBA recruitment programs (you have to be willing to move countries every couple years). Salaries are fair & benefits are OK R&D investments are good, so pipeline of future products is solid

Very Large Globally Integrated Company = Changes move slowly Little innovation in the business management approach despite turnover of Sr Managers

Good pay and benefits. Good location. Time off when needed.

Cons

Management seems scared to punish specific people but have no issues punishing the whole group. Employee pay is not linked to your quality of work. They just care about numbers, numbers, numbers. No chance of moving up. Slackers continue to slack while hard working people get all the work piled on them. No performance bonus at all so there is really no incentive to work any harder than the next person.
